This hinge butt template is easy to operate, and will permit mortising a door and jamb from 78 to 84 inches long. It will assure perfect matching of hinge locations on door and jamb. The hinge template can be adjusted for cutting 3- to 6-inch mortises for common hinge sizes. Features include spring loaded nails, that stay up prior to driving, and can be removed with claw hammer, thickness pins to mount doors to jamb without jamb stops, end gauges for each end of the template, and a full length locator with each template section. The hinge butt template no. 59380 comes included with mortising bit no. 43446, template guide no. 42042, lock nut no. 42237, carrying case no. 59824, and operating manual.
