DISC-110 BARGARD? PROTECTOR CAPS DISC-110 meets the testing requirements of CAL OSHA Construction Safety Orders Section 1712 on impalement protection from concrete reinforcing bars (#3-9, 3/8 - 1-1/4in) for heights up to 7-1/2in and 250 lbs. (CAL OSHA Approval)
Failure to properly install DISC110 will significantly decrease any impalement protection that may otherwise be provided by the DISC110 and may result in injury. If positioning fins are missing or damaged, the DISC110 must be discarded. For information on the requirements of guarding against impalement, consult OSHA CFR Title 29, Sect. 1928.701 et. seq.
